Joel Eisenberg is a writer and producer whose independently published fantasy novel series, The Chronicles of Ara, written with Stephen Hillard, has been sold to Ovation TV for an 8-hour miniseries, scheduled to air in 2017. The former head of EMO Films at Paramount Studios, Joel is the co-founder of All Cities Media, an entertainment industry networking group. Eisenberg has also written or developed programming for Cinemax, TNT and FOX Studios. Upcoming TV shows include an adaptation of the anthology "Shadow Show," featuring stories by Alice Hoffman and Jay Bonansinga. Features include: the Alzheimer's-themed “January Rain,” and a biopic of boxers Joe Louis and Max Schmeling, co-written with Gilbert Adler (producer of "Superman Returns," "Constantine, and "Valkyrie"). In 2007, Eisenberg became the subject of media attention by locating, identifying, organizing and archiving a long-considered lost handwritten John Steinbeck archive valued at nearly $1 million.
