Writer’s Digest is now accepting submissions for speakers and sessions for our 2022 Novel Writing Conference to be held at Westin Pasadena.

Diversity is important to us and we are looking to develop an inclusive program that represents all genres and publishing preferences, and invites participation from people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions and sexual orientation. All are encouraged to submit proposals, and please feel free to share this opportunity within your own networks to help expand our reach.

We cover travel costs and hotel stay during the conference for our presenters, as well as the opportunity to promote relevant books and services to attendees through a variety of channels, including an on-site bookstore.

    • New presenters! We’re always looking for new voices and we want to hear from you.
  • Sessions that run the gamut from teaching the fundamentals of craft and getting published, to delving deep into advanced subject areas (WDC attendees are at various stages in their careers).

  • All sessions are 60 minutes long and should include time for audience interaction via Q&A, during or at the end of the session.

What we’re not looking for:

  • Panel discussions
  • Sales pitches from vendors & service providers; please contact Kevin Smith for sponsorship information.
