Before an Audience: Tips and Tricks to Reading Your Writing in Public

This workshop is designed to help the writers prepare and read their work before and audience. We will go over topics such as: how to choose the right material, how to handle the language, how to dress, how to project your voice, and how to exit the stage. Attendees will leave with tangible information about how to handle their material, microphone, and books in front of the audience. By example I read materials from my book and other monologues, both correctly and incorrectly, to provide the audience with samples of best and worst practices.
