The Often Unspoken Truth About Your Plot

Somewhere between the seemingly contradictory beliefs that “there are no rules” and “give the reader what they came for” resides the truth about how commerical fiction unfolds on the pages, and the various processes that successful authors use to get there. The principles of story structure are clarified and rendered accessible though an understanding of a small handful of story principles that are too often learned through years of trial and error and study. This workshop is designed to cut that learning curve to a fraction of the norm of explaining and clarifying the difference between process and product, and the criteria for both.
